With the NR566 , renowned hi-fi manufacturer Soundmaster has achieved a major breakthrough. The cabinet design of this all-rounder, reminiscent of 1930s radios, will make any nostalgia fan's heart beat faster. But beneath the elegant wooden casing lies the latest 21st-century hi-fi technology .
The NR566's digital radio system supports modern DAB+ and FM RDS stereo digital radio reception , allowing you to access your favorite stations at the touch of a button using preset stations . A DAB+/FM antenna is included.
And the existing 75-ohm antenna connection also allows for direct connection to the house antenna, thus providing the best possible supply of the radio signal.
The playback quality of the integrated stereo speaker system with 2 x 4 watts RMS is impressive across the board and is perfectly adequate for sound reinforcement in larger living rooms . An equalizer is available for fine-tuning the frequency bands and thus the sound characteristics.
A nostalgic device, of course, shouldn't be without a record player integrated into the top of the case. The NR566 operates at either 33, 45, or 78 revolutions per minute . The magnetic pickup system , from the world-renowned microphone and studio equipment manufacturer Audio Technica, performs excellently, precisely reproducing even the finest sound details and colorations , which makes a subtle difference, especially with classical music.
The CD player integrated into the front of the case supports CD, CD-R/RW as well as the space-saving CD-MP3 audio format.
The encoder or digitizer makes it possible to create recordings and tracings from records, CDs, radio, cassettes or Bluetooth on the USB port.
The track separation function ensures that you don't create one large music file when recording, but can actually separate the tracks from each other, just like with a purchased CD. Extremely convenient!
Other features include a USB port , a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a line-out RCA jack, a side- mounted cassette deck , and a stylish and clearly laid-out remote control for controlling this nostalgic yet modern hi-fi device. Bluetooth streaming lets you connect the hi-fi device to other digital devices, such as your smartphone or tablet.
