Ist HORST eine Soundbar?

Nein. HORST ist ein persönlicher TV-Lautsprecher für Nähe zum Sitzplatz mit Fokus auf Sprache und Dialog und nicht als klassischer Soundbar-Raumklang-Ersatz gedacht.

Wie schließe ich HORST am TV an?

Über die Basisstation via HDMI-ARC, optisch (Toslink) oder 3,5 mm. Für beste Qualität wird HDMI oder optisch empfohlen. Bei angeschlossenen Kabeln wählt das Gerät automatisch HDMI.

Warum habe ich keinen Ton bei HDMI/optisch?

Im TV-Menü muss der digitale Audioausgang auf PCM gestellt werden, sonst kann es zu keinem Ton oder nur Rauschen kommen.

Kann ich den Lautsprecher vor oder hinter mir aufstellen?

Ja. Wenn der Lautsprecher hinter dem Sitzplatz steht, kann per L/R-Kanaltausch die Kanalzuordnung angepasst werden.

Wie lange hält der Akku und wie lade ich?

Ca. 18 Stunden bei mittlerer Lautstärke. Erstladung mindestens 4 Stunden. Laden über die Basisstation oder direkt per USB-C am Lautsprecher möglich.

FAQ – Frequently asked questions about HORST (TVL24SW)

What should I do if there is no sound via HDMI or the optical cable?

Important: In your TV's audio settings, the digital output format must be set to "PCM". HORST cannot process multichannel signals such as Dolby Digital or DTS.

Can I also use HORST with hearing aids?

Yes. HORST is an ideal addition for hearing aid users. Since you position the speaker directly next to you, the signal is transmitted more clearly and without room reverberation, which greatly eases the work of the hearing aid.

Does the volume control work independently of the TV?

Absolutely. You adjust the volume directly using HORST Speaker's large rotary dial. This lets you turn the TV speakers down or switch them off completely while listening through HORST at your preferred volume.

What does the "L/R Channel Swap" function mean?

If you place the speaker behind you, for example on the edge of the sofa, instead of in front of you, the left audio channel would come from the right. This button electronically swaps the channels so that the sound image once again matches the action on the TV.

Can I pair Bluetooth headphones with HORST?

No. The Bluetooth function is used to stream music from your phone to the HORST speaker. If you want to use headphones, you can connect them directly to the speaker's 3.5 mm jack socket using a cable.
