    ASA stands for "Automatic Safety Alert". The radio receives official warnings from the authorities via the DAB+ signal. In the event of a disaster, the device automatically switches to the warning channel or even wakes you from standby mode, provided it is plugged into the mains.

    Do I need to enter a location code for ASA?

    Yes, to ensure you only receive warnings relevant to your region, you should enter your location code. You can find this code by entering your address on the website www.asa.radio and then enter it in the radio's system menu under "ASA Alarms".

    Does the radio have an audiobook function?

    Yes. The RCD1190SW has a resume function for CDs and USB sticks. The device remembers the last playback position and resumes playback from exactly that point after being switched off and on again.

    Can I connect my Bluetooth headphones to the radio?

    No. The Bluetooth function is a receiver. You can play music from your mobile phone on the radio. To listen with headphones, please use the standard 3.5 mm jack on the side of the device.
