The Denver MRD-180 combines classic music media and modern audio technology in a versatile retro music center. Records, CDs, MP3 CDs and cassettes can be played, as can DAB+ digital radio, FM radio or music from a smartphone via Bluetooth. MP3 files can be played through the USB port, and existing music collections can be digitized directly.

This makes the MRD-180 particularly suitable for music lovers who want to continue using their existing record, CD or cassette collection without giving up digital radio, Bluetooth and USB. The integrated stereo speakers eliminate the need for additional speakers during normal use, while AUX-in, a headphone jack and stereo line-out provide additional connection options.

Rediscover records, CDs and cassettes

The integrated turntable supports the three speeds 33, 45 and 78 rpm. The auto-stop function can be switched on or off depending on the record being played. A suitable adapter for 45 rpm singles is already included.

Older CD and cassette collections can also be easily enjoyed again with the MRD-180. In addition to conventional audio CDs, the CD player supports MP3 playback as well as finalized CD-R and CD-RW discs. The integrated cassette player makes the device a central playback station for multiple generations of music media.

DAB+, FM and Bluetooth

For current radio reception, DAB+ digital radio and FM are available. Up to 30 stations can be stored for each reception type. Frequently listened-to programs can therefore be recalled quickly.

Modern audio sources are also supported: compatible smartphones and tablets can be connected wirelessly to the Denver MRD-180 via Bluetooth. Wired devices can additionally be connected via the 3.5 mm AUX input.

Digitize music directly to USB

One of the most interesting features of the Denver MRD-180 is its integrated USB recording function. It allows content from records, CDs, cassettes, DAB+/FM radio, Bluetooth and AUX to be saved as MP3 files on a connected USB flash drive.

The recording format is 128 kbit/s. Individual tracks can be separated manually during digitization. For suitable recordings, the device also supports automatic detection of track pauses. This allows older records or cassettes, for example, to be transferred step by step into a digital music collection without an additional computer.

Sound, connections and convenience features

The integrated stereo speakers enable direct playback without external speakers. The equalizer settings Flat, Rock, Classical, Jazz and Pop are available for sound adjustment. Bass and treble can also be adjusted individually.

A 3.5 mm headphone jack enables undisturbed listening. The music center can also be connected to a suitable amplifier or active speakers via the stereo line-out with RCA connectors.

For everyday use, the MRD-180 offers two separately programmable alarm times. DAB+, FM radio or a buzzer can be selected as the alarm signal. A sleep timer with settings of 15, 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes and an LCD display with adjustable backlight complete the features.
