In residential areas with many routers, the classic 2.4 GHz band is often overloaded, which can cause dropouts when listening to internet radio. The IR7000TI also supports the more stable 5 GHz band, guaranteeing a significantly more interference-free connection and faster station loading times.[1, 3]
Does the radio have an audiobook resume function?
Yes. When playing MP3 files via the USB port, the device remembers the last playback position. After switching it off and on again, playback resumes exactly where it left offâideal for long audiobooks or podcasts.
Can I pair Bluetooth headphones with the IR7000TI?
No. The Bluetooth function is a receiver (sink). You can play music wirelessly from your smartphone through the radio. However, a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack is available on the back for headphones.
How do I control the radio via the app?
Download the free OKTIV app (the successor to the UNDOK app for newer Frontier modules) to your smartphone. As soon as your phone and radio are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, you can select stations, adjust the volume, and manage favorites without having to touch the device directly.
