Will the KTD1020SI fit under every kitchen cabinet?

Yes, the device is specifically designed for under-cabinet mounting. Thanks to the included drilling template and spacers, it can also be securely mounted under cabinets with light panels. For optimal longevity, ensure adequate ventilation from above.

How can I improve DAB+ reception when mounting the device under a cabinet?

Digital radios are sensitive to interference. If possible, keep a distance of approximately 50 cm from LED power supplies, routers, or microwave ovens. Since the device has a 75-ohm antenna connection, you can easily connect an active indoor antenna or your house antenna if the signal is weak. [4]

Does the CD player have an audiobook function?

Yes, the KTD1020SI has a resume function. The device remembers the last playback position on the CD and resumes playback from exactly that point after being switched back on – ideal for audiobooks and long music tracks.

Can I connect a Fire TV Stick or Apple TV?

Yes, external streaming sticks can be connected via the HDMI input. If you experience audio problems, please switch the audio output on the stick to "PCM", as the device does not decode multi-channel formats such as Dolby Digital.

Is the device suitable for use in a motorhome?

Absolutely. Thanks to its 12V DC connection, it's ideal for caravans. For direct connection to the vehicle's electrical system, we recommend the optionally available KTD12V adapter to absorb voltage spikes and protect the device.

What code do I need for a universal remote control?

For Soundmaster devices, the codes 0341 or 022 will work in most cases. If you are using a learning remote control, you can also transfer the commands directly from the original remote control supplied with the device.

Can I connect Bluetooth headphones to the radio?

No. The device has a Bluetooth receiver function to play music from a smartphone through the radio speakers. However, it cannot send a Bluetooth signal to headphones or external speakers.
